“Be a traveler…not a tourist”

This was some of our take home message after an engaging talk on 23rd May at the Penthouse at The Tower Club on Pickering Street.

For an hour, we were transported from the skyscrapers of Singapore to the skyscrapers of nature in the Patagonia and from the Singaporean Straits to the Galapagos islands.

This talk was organized by A2A Quasar expedition in partnership with AWDS. Since 2002, A2A has been organizing quality safaris, tailored to each individual, to give a once in a lifetime experience. Each trip is meticulously organized and will leave you yearning for more. Attention is given to the finest details and the journey is planned for one to have as much of a local experience as possible. They started with safari trips to Africa and have now expanded to journeys to South America and Antarctica.

A2Apic

Our AWDS members, together with their family and friends enjoyed the talk and had a chance to catch up with fellow members over canape and wine.

A2A staff showed great hospitality in hosting us and answering any queries we had about their trips.

If this event was an appetizer, I am sure the main course, which is the holiday itself, would be a scrumptious one…
