Join us for this must-see rock and roll musical play “From a Jack to a King” , a night of fun, fine food, and wine!

The evening will commence with cocktails at 6.45pm, followed by the show at 7.30pm inside Jubilee Hall Theatre, with one 20-minute interval. After the play (approx. 9.30pm), a gourmet dinner prepared by Raffles Hotel, inclusive of free-flow wines will be served in the Raffles Ballroom and Casuarina Suite.

Tables seating 10 pax are now on sale: $3,750 for Bronze or $4,500 for Silver (all inclusive plus, a fabulous gift for each guest !).Those who purchase a Silver table will be provided with best front row theatre seats including 10 exclusive invitations to meet members of the cast of “From A Jack To A King” over a cocktail reception on Friday 30th April 2010 at Eden Hall, Residence of the British High Commissioner.

30% of ticket sales will go directly to benefit needy women with cancer and chronic illnesses, through the KK Hospital Health Endowment Fund (KKHHEF). Your 30% donation to KKHHEF will also receive double tax-exemption.

The British Theatre Playhouse has chosen to produce “From A Jack To A King”, a Rock and Roll musical featuring established and prominent actors from the UK. The production is based loosely on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and will be directed by Bob Carlton, whose musical “Return To The Forbidden Planet” won the Olivier Award for Best Musical. “From A Jack To A King” is a musical packed with 1950’s and 60’s popular songs performed live by the cast. Songs include Jailhouse Rock - Tell Laura I love her - Leader of the Pack – Go Johnny Go - Downtown and The Sun ‘Aint Gonna Shine Anymore.
