The play with music "The Rise & Fall of Little Voice" was presented by British Theatre Playhouse in aid of VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer. Dr Wendy Teoh was on the Organizing Committee for the opening night gala dinner theatre; AWDS members and friends supported this event with a few tables and President SR Nathan was the guest of honour. The $80,000 raised from this event went to Viva Foundation to fund its programs, like building a Children’s Cancer Centre in Singapore, in partnership with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, USA and National University Hospital; to care and treat children with leukemia in particular.
