18 Feb 2006: Seminar on "Preparing Women for Terrorism and Emergency" with Ministry of Home Affairs

The aim of this event was raising the awareness of terrorism and ensuring that all women are prepared in such times of emergency. What AWDS did:- With the help of Dr Shani Tan (Founder & Director of Wilderness First Aid), Dr Wendy Teoh and Dr Ann Tan set up an interactive activity/demo booth on how to prepare a First Aid Kit, answered questions and counseled the public on how to prepare for evacuation in emergency situations. 450 people attended this seminar at the Civil Defence Academy.
