03 Nov 2007 Jewellery Making Workshop

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, two of our members, Dr Shirley Yap and Dr Yeo Siang Khin, conducted a jewelry making workshop for fourteen of our women doctors and their friends. Dr Yap and Dr Yeo are both dental surgeons who have been making their own jewelry for more than 7 years and have been involved in the teaching of beaded jewelry techniques to a group of women doctors for the past 4 years. The lovely ladies learnt how to make their own pearl lariat necklace with a pair of earrings to match as well! All in all, a fun-filled afternoon that ended with all the women taking home sparkling pieces of jewelry.
