AWDS Annual General Meeting

The new committee for Association of Women Doctors Singapore is born!

More than forty members of the Association of Women Doctors turned up for the Annual General Meeting on 11 August 2006.

Held at the Raffles Town Club, the event was officiated by Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health, Ms Yong Ying-I.

After much deliberation, a new committee was formed. Replacing President Daphne Khoo is Dr Ann Tan, Vice President of AWDS and Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Women & Fetal Centre, a member of Pacific Healthcare. Dr Ann Tan’s successor is Dr Wendy Teoh who is an Associate Consultant, Women’s Anaesthetist, KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Under the lead of the new committee, AWDS members can look forward to a year filled with excitement and meaningful activities!
