9 January 2009: Juggling, Yes it’s possible! – NUS Medical Society talk at NUS, Lecture Theatre 29

It was a highly successful, well-received talk. The five speakers were
Ann Tan – O & G consultant in private practice. President of SCWO. Ex-president of AWDS
Iroshini Chua – General Physician in government practice. Jewelry designer and entrepreneur.
George Lee – Aesthetic physician, entrepreneur. Celebrity, graduated from NUS
Pua Hwee Leng – Pediatric anesthetist in private practice. Interest in charity/mission work. Graduated from NUS
Anne Tan Kendrick – Radiologist in private practice. President scholar. Tri-athlete. Belly dancer.

All highly respected in their fields with a wide range of interests encompassing charity work, entrepreneurship, family life, tri-athletes were truly inspiring. Each discussed their individual experiences to develop their interests, and be highly successful in their careers.
The feedback received from the medical students generally positive.
Many were inspired, others expressed interest in joining the society as associate members. Some male students also expressed interest in joining
