4 August 2009: “Dine-Around Singapore” dinner event at Il Lido, Sentosa for APEC delegates, co-hosted by AWDS and SCWO.

AWDS doctors as well members of SCWO played host to delegates from the APEC WLN at il Lido Restaurant at Sentosa, one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring locations, with a panoramic view of the Singapore Straits. Our dining option was one of the sell-outs of the 12 other dining venues offered to delegates, and we had to increase our capacity from 40 to 55pax

A walk around the Merlion and bus tour of Sentosa preceeded the dinner event, with delegates returning to the restaurant to enjoy the spectacular sunset sipping some cocktails. Dr Wendy Teoh and Dr Ann Tan welcomed them and gave a brief commentary on the roles of AWDS and SCWO in Singapore. Guests were then treated to a delightful 4 course dinner, with a modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine. Everyone enjoyed the evening!
