1st August 2009: AWDS tea party at the Singapore International Jewellery Show (SIJS) 2009

SIJS was back in 2009 for its 5th successive presentation. The glamorous International Jewellery, Gems and Accessories Exhibition was held from 30 July to 2 August 2009 at the SUNTEC Singapore.

AWDS held a networking tea party there at the VIP lounge on a Saturday afternoon. As the canapés and wine flowed, attendees enjoyed the ambience of the VIP lounge, a presentation on watches and well as a visual treat of works by Parisian painter Thomas Diego Armonia. Dr Wendy Teoh conducted a lucky draw, and 14 members walked away with delightful spa package treats by Rustic Nirvana and Vedure Mediboutique, a set of pearls by DeGem, hotel stays at Marina Mandarin, bottles of wine etc. All attendees were treated to goody bags containing 6 months subscription to SOLITAIRE jewellery magazine, a CISCO safe deposit box for a year, caviar skincare range by Kerstin Florian, aromatherapy goodies, museum entries to the Peranakan museum or Asian Civilizations Musuem, and numerous discount vouchers at participating jewellery outlets. This was followed by a fashion show by Tian Po Jewellery.
